It was because of her that he met the love of his life.
And Tim Tebow and fiance Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters mourned the passing of her younger sister Franje on Saturday.
The couple met at a Night to Shine event in South Africa, which Demi attended in support of her sibling.
Both took to Instagram to share the news.
What I love about Demi’s post is the truth she shared in it. Friends, in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17, we reminded of the hope we have as believers, versus those who don’t know Christ.
“And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died so you will not grieve like people who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died.”
Please pray for their family, friends. What sets them apart is they know where she is; in heaven with Jesus Christ.
I interviewed Tim earlier this year, and he told me of how he met his love. They both have her sister Franje to thank.
