The Pope Says The Catholic Church Cannot Support Gay Marriage, Because It’s Sin

If you’ve been raised in the church or familiar with Christianity and/or Catholicism, the Vatican’s announcement won’t come as a shock to you.

The Catholic church released a statement explaining why they cannot bless same-sex unions.

“For the above mentioned reasons, the Church does not have, and cannot have, the power to bless unions of persons of the same sex in the sense intended above,” it said.

While the church is correct, there are also problems in the Catholic church which deal with sexual sin. Homosexuality is not unforgiveable, as many are aware, but it’s often at the forefront.

While the church is correct, let’s take a look at what else it needs to work on.
