The Gospel Comes to Life in Cirque du Soleil-Type Show, The Thorn

Is it a play? Is it a musical? Is it a film?

Well, The Thorn is sort of all of the three, without singing. What started as a homemade play by a youth minister in the early ’90s, would eventually lead to a full theatrical production and now feature film.

The Thorn, created by John Bolin, takes viewers through the Gospel via a Cirque du Soleil-type performance. It will be shown as a feature film March 6-7, and as a live performance in states across the US in March and April.
