“Redeeming Love” Trailer, Based on the Love Story of Hosea in the Bible, is Out

It’s a truly biblical type of love, that can be found in Jesus Christ, and mirrored by the life and love of Hosea in the Bible.

The trailer for the highly-anticipated movie, Redeeming Love, was released on Tuesday. January 21, 2022 was announced as the release date.

“The film is based on the novel Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers, which is a retelling of the biblical love story of Gomer and Hosea,” began a press release for the film.

The internationally bestselling novel has remained on multiple fiction bestseller lists for over 15 years and has been published in more than 30 languages. Francine Rivers, the New York Times bestselling author of over 30 books, worked with Director D.J. Caruso for the screenplay to ensure the beloved story stayed true to its roots.”

Lauren Daigle’s song, Rescue, was used as the official song for the trailer. The film is rated PG-13, for “mature thematic content, sexual content, partial nudity and strong violent content,” according to the Motion Pictures Association.
