He’s literally all of us at one point or another.
Jeremy Camp has a new single out, called “Dead Man Walking.”
The Grammy-nominated singer, whose life is being made into a movie, I Still Believe, debuted the music video for the song on Friday.
In a press release, the married dad-of-three revealed the Bible verse that inspired his single, Colossians 2:13-14. Essentially, we are spiritually dead before we find Christ, which makes us “dead men walking.”
“Colossians 2:13-14 speaks of our lives before Christ as being ‘dead.’ There was a time I felt emotionally and spiritually dead, but then God changed me radically,” began Jeremy in a press release.
“That is why I’m excited to share ‘Dead Man Walking’ – because it’s a song of thankfulness that even though I was once a ‘dead man walking’ I’m now a man ‘walking with God.'”
