If you haven’t heard, ‘The Chosen’ Christmas special, aka “Christmas With The Chosen: The Messengers” smashed Fathom event records and soared to the #1-selling Fathom Event in company history.
If you’ve seen the show, that shouldn’t come as a surprise. It’s beautiful that believers all around the world are experiencing the life of our Savior in a way that hasn’t been done before.
I recently chatted with series creator and director, Dallas Jenkins, and Christian musician Phil Wickham about the special (out in select theaters until December 10).
We discussed whether or not CCM artists who act will appear on the show, how Dallas feels about the show being used as an evangelism tool, why non-believers should watch, and Phil gave encouraging words for those experiencing a hard time enjoying Christmas this season.
