Bella Robertson, 18, got engaged to boyfriend of 6 months, Jacob Mayo. The couple’s happy news was celebrated on social media by their family and friends, including older sister Sadie Robertson.
But critics were quick to argue that the couple became engaged too young.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Bella addressed their concerns, defended their young age, and provided reasons for her decision to marry so young.
2020 has been a year of ups and downs for Bella and Jacob, as well as the Robertson family in general. This past summer, the couple, as well as sister Sadie, Mom Korie, Dad Willie and brother-in-law Christian suffered from Covid.
On a higher note, Bella’s sister Sadie and the girls’ sister-in-law Mary Kate announced they were pregnant.
